We adore our jam here at the Delimann. And this month are thrilled to show case Highfield Preserves. We thought you might like to know a little more about them...

Highfield Preserves began life in 1984 on the family Aga in the Fraser household in Devon. Since then, Jennifer Fraser has passed the reins to her son, Don and the company has moved to purpose-built premises on the outskirts of Tiverton. The company now employs ten people and produces over 40 different flavours, with many more recipes in their books, many of which have won medals at regional and national competitions, and they're growing all the time.

But some things haven't changed - such as the commitment to home-cooked quality and the excitement at coming up with fresh ideas and new recipes. Likewise, Highfields ethics and commitment to honesty in everything they do will never change.

You may not know:

•The Fraser family originally came from Scotland and moved to Devon, bringing many traditional recipes with them
•They started out making products from their own Devon vineyard
•Highfields are a proud member of the Taste of the West food group, and have been ever since the organisation was founded
•Highfields use 100% green energy and recycle everything they can
•They use the latest food technology to ensure quality, yet still make their products by hand, in small batches, using only the very best ingredients.
